As such, we understand that buying a sofa is an important decision and that you need one which is unique to your needs and will be at the heart of your home for years to come. 

Head of the G&G family Jamie Graham works closely with designers in Britain and beyond to curate collections of custom made sofas. Our range offers you the chance to select the perfect size and shape, including 2 seaters, 3 seaters and 4 seaters, as well as some with chaise options. 

When it comes to style, we have plenty of variety. Browse our traditional English designs finished with brass castor feet, turned legs and timelessly elegant frames, or more contemporary options such as clean-lined modular sofas. When you choose a bespoke sofa you can select the fabric you’d like from our curated collection, ranging from plush velvets to soft slubbed linens. You can request up to six free fabric swatches on each sofa collection page so you feel confident you’re making the right choice. 

How to choose a sofa

Before you do anything else, it’s best to make sure you know what size sofa you need for your space. Start by measuring the area you want your sofa to slot into – this will help you narrow down your options. You should also consider how you’ll use your custom upholstered sofa and who will be using it. If you have young children or pets then a durable fabric, perhaps with loose washable covers, is best so it’s easy to clean. Or if you’re often entertaining guests, opt for one that can host a lot of people such as a 4 seater or a corner sofa which will also slot neatly into a slightly tighter spot and make the most of your space.
