What is Scandinavian Design?

Scandinavian design is known for its relaxing feel, drawing on natural materials and gentle, calming colours like milky creams, chalk whites and soft greys. Texture also takes precedence over colour with Scandi style furniture. Think warm, cosy, soft-to-touch upholstery such as boucle, or natural linen and cotton covers on Scandinavian sofas.
