Chimney Charcoal Starter

A sure-fire starter, this aluminium chimney allows you to safely and quickly heat up charcoal for your barbecue or fire bowl featuring small holes to insert a lit match.

  • H27 x Ø17cm.
  • Made of aluminium and wood.
  • Suitable for charcoal and barbecue briquettes.
  • Place the chimney charcoal starter on a fire-resistant surface such as the grill grate. Fill with flammable wood wool lighters, lighting cubes or newspaper and top with charcoal or briquettes. Light the kindling with a long match via the openings in the lower section. When the charcoal is coated with a thin layer of white ash. safely distribute the charcoal into the barbecue or fire bowl.
  • Depending on the type of charcoal used and the weather, this process may take approximately 15-30 minutes.
  • Do not use spirit, petrol or comparable fluids for lighting and the use of a fire-resistant glove when decanting the charcoal into the barbecue or firebowl is advised.
