We are recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager position in our Elgin Crescent Store.
Key Responsibilities for this position are:
• To assist the Store Manager with day-to-day operations in the store.
• To provide an excellent level of customer service and ensure all staff are fully trained on the minimum standards at Graham and Green. To ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved and that the service is quick and efficient.
• To drive sales and increase profitability. To be aware of the daily, weekly and monthly targets. To work with the manager on improving the profitability of the store.
• To take full responsibility for the stock and to manage it through accurate stock takes, to process all stock movements accurately, to limit the amount of stock loss through theft and damages.
• To take responsibility for the stock room, ensuring that products are stored safely and without the risk of damages.
• To liaise with the Warehouse on a regular basis to track customer requests/deliveries.
• To have excellent product knowledge; knowledge of suppliers, fabrics, delivery lead times, pricing, history behind product.
• To merchandise store to company guidelines. To ensure the windows are changed regularly and that the store is of a high visual standard every day.
• To assist the Manager with administrative tasks (i.e. banking, time sheets, rotas, incentive programs, transfers, deliveries, etc).
• To be I.T. literate preferably with experience of MS Navision or any other CRM/ERP system
• To assist the Manager in motivating and training all staff, to constantly look for areas of improvement to maintain optimal performance in the store.
