As head of warehouse and logistics, you will be a key member of the management team. You will be responsible for leading and coaching your team to consistently achieve tough targets across the warehouse and distribution operation. You will ensure Team Leaders and all departments within the warehouse and logistics operation work effectively together to consistently achieve operational KPI's. Your organisation, motivation and leadership skills will be invaluable in continuing to drive the continued operational & financial success of the facility. You will be joining the company at a time of change and experience of an E.R.P implementation and major Warehouse relocation/fit-out experience is also highly desirable. You will also be responsible for company wide Health and Safety policy and implementation.

Candidate profile

We are looking for an experienced head of warehouse and logistics with proven success in a similar managerial role, ideally having worked in a busy mail order/e-commerce/retail fulfilment environment. You will co-ordinate and motivate the warehouse operation and logistics providers to meet the department KPI's. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to maintain and develop a positive relationship with staff, customers and our retail stores. You will also need the ability to liaise with other areas of the business in order to develop and enhance operational performance. It is essential to the role that you have good working knowledge of warehouse operational and Health and Safety procedures with sound financial awareness and be flexible and resilient in a very challenging environment. We are looking for a driven leader with the energy and enthusiasm to actively seek ideas and opportunities. You will need to drive continuous improvement within the warehouse and transport operation, implementing plans to consistently improve the performance, both in fulfilment and financial, of the warehouse and distribution operation.
