Beautifully hand crafted in India, this French renaissance style green and bone inlay chest of drawers with elegant curves takes a team of skilled craftsmen many weeks to complete. Individual pieces of reliably sourced cow and camel bone have been skilfully carved and fixed into resin on a wooden frame to create an intricate floral design. Each drawer front is finished with a hand carved bone drawer knob.

The frame is built from durable mango wood, with an MDF backing board to prevent warping.

I bought this in black and white. The green looks amazing - wish i had this in purple.

The black and white is amazing. It is all hand made and is a key 'investment piece' ( I keep throwing these words around to convince my husband that everything I want is worthwhile - hahahah). I can't seem to find my own on the website but here is what I can say. It is completely covered and designed all around except for the side the back. All peices are different in colour - ie there is variation. The handles match the bone very well. The drawers glide in and out easily. Very basic wood material inside compared to the outside. Check your purchase to ensure there are no broken bits or missing bits. Ours is lovely. Gets a lot of comments. We have put picture frames on top and will probably, later, use it to store baby clothes. It is a heavy item but the G & G guys are great and will deliver it to where you want. It may not sit flush againt the wall depending on your flooring and how your walls lean. This is not a fault with the item.

Lovely - I have matching mirrors and a console table too.
